Who we are

Curtis and I met in Jr. High youth group and "unofficially" dated in high school.  We made it official after I graduated and tied the knot a few years later after college.  We've been married nearly 9 years and it has been the best adventure!  We have grown so much as individuals as well as a couple and we certainly compliment each other as our personalities are worlds apart! One thing we hold steadfast to though is our passion to live out God's purpose.  We have an unyielding desire for our God and long to live our lives serving him in the ways he calls us to.  He has brought us through thick and thin and we can't wait to see what he has in store for this next adventure of adoption!

Laura

Laura is an elementary school counselor by day, and full time mommy by night.  She absolutely adores her job and the fulfillment she receives each day from being able to help others. She also enjoys spending time as a family along with movies, photography, music, traveling, nature, their new vintage camper and her chickens!  She will proudly proclaim Jesus as her true love and has been redeemed by the risen King!

Curtis is a man of many talents.  However, his full-time gig is fulfilling the role of the director of kid's ministries (birth-5th) at our church, Riverway.  He is a great leader and lover of people!  He also works with his dad part time in their officiating business helping with the financial management and assigning duties.  On the side, he is finishing up a 4 year degree in accounting. ( I told you he had many talents!) He also enjoys coaching little league, playing softball, biking, camping, spending time with family and friends.  

Everett

Everett is 5 and he will be sure to tell you that the first time you meet him.  He is the most energetic, loving, caring, wild, goofy and sensitive boy I know.  As much as he has a goofball side and can make us laugh, he also has an insanely big heart full of deep emotion.  He has proved to be a phenomenal big brother and is proud to be the protector of his little sister.  This boy made us parents for the first time and that is an irreplaceable and golden gift!  He is very excited for another little brother or sister to love on and protect!

Greyleigh

This Greyleigh girl is our little peach.  She is 2 years old and she is every bit as adorable as she looks!  She has a spunky personality that love to sass a bit, but also knows how to be the best cuddler around.  She loves babies right now and so she undoubtedly would love to have a new addition to the family.  She is learning how to take care of her stuffed friends and would make a superb big sister!

Axle

Axle is our Fur baby.  He is 8 years old and besides whining at the dinner table, is the best dog around.  He puts up with his ears and tail being tugged on by two rambunctious kids and gives them some good doggy kisses.  He know's how to "talk", but is the sweetest dog when it comes to people.  He is a great watch dog that loves to cuddle!
